Aboriginal Dot Painting Classes
Micky is now running dot painting classes where she teaches a modern contemporary style that she uses in her own art practice.
These classes give the participants the opportunity to learn a little of her culture and art style. Micky will also explain the do’s and don’ts when it comes to non-Aboriginal people doing dot paintings.
As part of the process, she acknowledges the Kaurna people, the traditional owners of this land, and asks that we respect their culture, heritage and beliefs by paying respect to Elders past, present and future.
Basket Weaving Classes
Join Micky in one of her popular basket weaving workshops and learn how to weave your own beautiful basket.
Using a variety of mediums, including raffia, natural fibres and grasses, these popular workshops fill up fast so be sure to book ahead.
You’ll leave with either a completed object or with a project to continue enjoying in your own time in the comfort of your own home.
